End of the World

When we grow up, no one tells us that it's not the end of the world. This day and age is full of unneeded pressure to constantly perform at a higher level than we are, at a higher level than those around us.
No one tells us that if we don't get into college it's not the end of the world.
It's not the end of the world...
to not get a perfect SAT score.
to elect to go to a vocational school.
to not get into the college of your dreams.
to go into debt.
to go to a community college.
to go to the back up school.
to go to the safe school.
to not go to college.
to take longer than four years to finish college.
to fail a test.
to miss an assignment.
to fail a class.
to take a break from school.
to not graduate in four years.
to never get a bachelors
to have a career delayed.
to not have a dream career.
to follow a dream that might not end up in a career.
to have a career that might not pay all the bills.
to opt out of traditional education.
to choose not to go into the work force.
to get married young.
to live paycheck to paycheck.
to not know how rent will be paid this month.
to not know where the next meal is going to come from.
to not know when the next paycheck is coming
to have to work two or more jobs to make ends meet.
to move to a more affordable place.
to move in with your parents.
to wait to start a career
to not wait to start a family.
to have a baby young.
to have a baby old
to decide not to marry the father.
to decide to marry the father.
to be a single mother.
to be a single father.
to live in the unknowns
to have and unplanned pregnancy.

It is the end for someone's world to abort.
